Are Weight Loss Pills Safe?

There are a lot of diet pills on the market right now, and have been a fad for a long time. I personally don’t use them and I advise you not to use them either. For the average person, and the overweight person they will not help you. If anything they will cause more problems for you if taken regularly.

Diet pill manufactures use the best marketing. They show you someone that is in-shape and they place the pills right next to them. This tricks your mind into thinking that the person used them to get thin. And because humans want the path of lease resistance, we believe that the person did it in a relatively short amount of time. The person in the video or picture is probably a fitness model, and that’s what they do. They may or may-not have used fat burners to help get them in-shape, but if they did, its because they are doing all the other things it takes to reach that level; like eating a reduces caloric diet, working-out 6-7 days a week, etc.

Unless you are a fitness model, or competitor, diet pills will not move the needle for you. It wont work alone, because if it did then don’t you think everyone would have already been doing it? I don’t use them because of the side affects. Phenylpropanolamine and caffeine are two ingredients found in these diet pills, and can reduce your appetite, which can lead to fat and muscle loss (weigh loss). However, it can also lead to nausea, insomnia, high blood pressure, anxiety, and many other things. In my opinion, it is not worth it.

Always ask your doctor or personal trainer what they think about diet pills. If they are truly looking out for your wellbeing, then they will steer you away from them.
